Privacy Policy
How we collect, use and protect your information.
Who we are
Bank Media UK is a web design and social media business based in Devon, UK. We are responsible for the personal information you share through this website. You can contact us at hello@bankmediauk.com or on +44 7572 906193.
What we collect
Information you give us: when you fill in our quiz, free audit form, contact form or price calculator, we collect the details you enter, such as your name, email, phone number, business details and message.
Website usage: we record anonymous statistics such as pages viewed, buttons clicked, the type of site that referred you and the date. We use a random ID stored in your browser rather than cookies, and we do not collect your name or email this way. We also use Google Analytics, which may set cookies to measure visits.
How we use it
We use your details to reply to your enquiry, prepare quotes and audits, provide the services you ask for, and understand how our website is used so we can improve it. We rely on your consent and on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and running our business.
We never sell your information, and we only send marketing if you have asked us to.
Who we share it with
We use trusted providers to run this website: Formspree to deliver form messages to our inbox, a secure cloud database to store price calculator quotes and anonymous statistics, Google Analytics for visitor statistics, and our hosting provider. They only process your information on our behalf.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and quote details for as long as needed to respond and, if you become a client, for the length of our working relationship plus any period required for tax or legal reasons. Anonymous statistics may be kept longer.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, object to how we use it, or withdraw your consent at any time. Email hello@bankmediauk.com and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Cookies
Our site stores a small note in your browser to remember that you have dismissed the cookie banner. Google Analytics may set its own cookies. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time.
